THE NATIONAL ARAB ORCHESTRA TAKHT ENSEMBLE

The internationally acclaimed National Arab Orchestra Takht Ensemble (NAOTE), founded and directed by Michael Ibrahim, returns to the Buena Vista Theater at UTSA – Downtown Campus in “Encore in San Antonio” on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 8 PM. A limited number of in-person tickets are available to provide both performer and patron intimate views of each other. The state-of-the-art theater also provides live streaming of the concert, so anyone can view the event from the comfort of home by purchasing live stream tickets.

The concert will be packed with talented musical artists. Michael Ibrahim will treat the audience to his virtuosity in traditional Arab musical instruments as well as his skill as a conductor. Popular NAOTE lead vocalist Usama Baalbaki returns for the event. Featured guest artists include: Nibal Malshi (vocalist – Dallas, TX) , Georges Lammam (violinist – San Francisco, CA), and Gabriel Navia (guitarist – San Francisco, CA). In addition, Bassam Nashawati and a cadre of musicians from the San Antonio Symphony will join the NAOTE on stage in this Arab music celebration.
