The rules are simple, when you enter the competition you are allocated points and a share link. The more you share your link with friends and family (so they can enter and try to WIN) the more points you will earn.

The more points you earn, the more chances you have of winning.

The National Arab Orchestra competition provides us with the opportunity to not only promote our Houston concert - Treasures of the East: Timeless Classics of the Arab World - but also allows us to grow our community while giving away some exciting prizes for those of you who join in on the fun.

A concert that highlights some of the Arab world’s most treasured pieces of music with a performance that will showcase the rich beauty and diverse heritage of the Arab world, all brought to life by the National Arab Orchestra with special guest artists, Ranine Chaar and Mohamed Mohsen. Treasures of the East builds bridges between communities by providing a forum for people to connect through the joy of Arab music and the atmosphere of such performances the National Arab Orchestra is famed for.

Meet Ranine Chaar

Ranine Chaar

Ranine Chaar is an established Lebanese vocalist, and the daughter of famed vocalist, Abdul Karim Chaar. Ranine began her musical journey at the age of 10, joining her school’s church choir. Ranine’s strong vocal ability to sing in many different Arab dialects has garnered her much praise from critics and audience members throughout the Arab world; leading to performances in such venues including: the Beiteddine International Festival in Lebanon, Festival Du Monde Arabe, Montreal CA, Festival d’Aix En Provence in France, Jerash Festival in Jordan, the Qatar Opera House, the Rotterdam Arab Film Festival in Holland. Ranine holds a BA in international economics from Hawaii Pacific University and a BA in international tourism management from the Lebanese University.

Meet Mohamed Mohsen

Mohamed Mohsen

Mohamed Mohsen hails from the country of Egypt. Having discovered music late in his life, Mohamed began his musical journey in 2005 during his undergraduate studies at Cairo University. He participated in college vocal ensembles and in 2009, shortly after graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he founded his first group, Mohsen Band, and began working on his own music and producing two albums. In addition to his vocal career, Mohamed has participated in a variety of acting projects both in theater and on screen in Egypt. His rise to fame led Mohamed to perform throughout the Arab world in such venues as: the Byblos Festival in Lebanon in collaboration with Marcel Khalife, the Cultural Hall in Bahrain, the Mawazine Festival in Morocco, the Riyadh Season Festival in Saudi Arabia, and the Arab Music Festival at the Cairo Opera House, where Mohamed has been a returning artist since 2012. Mohamed’s first US performance will take place on March 18th, 2023, at the Hobby Center in Houston, Texas.
